Is it good for beginners?
Yes. The kit has everything to start, including practice skin and transfer paper, and a rotary pen is lighter and quieter than a coil machine, so it is easier to control. Always practise on the skin before working on a person.
How long does the battery last?
It depends on the level and the needle: lower levels last longer. Charge it by USB between sessions, or choose the Pro pack to swap in a second battery mid-session.
Which level should I use?
Start at level 2–3 for shading and soft work, and go to level 4 (9 V, about 8,000 RPM) for crisp lining. Use level 5 only in short bursts.
What cartridges does it take?
Standard needle cartridges. 10 are included (5 × 1203RL liners, 5 × 1207RM magnums); the Complete and Pro packs add 20 more.
Can I use a regular power supply?
Yes. The pen has a standard RCA port, so it also runs on the included RCA cable from any tattoo power supply.
Gray or black?
Same pen, same performance. Gunmetal gray has a black cap and a gray grip; matte black is black all over.
Is it hygienic?
Cartridges are single-use and sealed. Wrap the pen and battery with barrier film and wear gloves every session. Follow your local health rules.
Do I need a licence?
Rules depend on your country or state. Practising on the included skin needs nothing; tattooing other people usually requires training and a licence.
How long is delivery?
Usually 7–12 business days to the USA, UK, Canada and Australia, with tracking emailed as soon as it ships.
What if it’s not for me?
You have 30 days. Unused kits with sealed cartridges are refunded in full; if anything arrives faulty, we replace it.
