How it works

What you actually get

Stop guessing. Start seeing.

Know if fish are there

Know if fish are there

Lower the camera and look. No more hours over an empty hole or a dead spot — move on in minutes, not after a cold morning.

Because a live 1080P camera shows exactly what’s in front of the lens
See how they react to your bait

See how they react to your bait

Watch fish follow, nose or ignore your lure — then change colour, depth or speed right there instead of next weekend.

Because the picture is live, not a recording you check later

Infrared LEDs light up the scene when the sun is low, with a light most fish barely notice.

Three parts. One clear view.

The screen
01The screen

Bright enough for open water

Most budget monitors wash out the moment the sun hits them. The RunEarn screen is a 1500-lux IPS panel with a fold-out visor, so you see fish — not your own reflection.

  • 4.3" IPS colour screen
  • 1500 lux brightness
  • Fold-out sun visor
  • Wide viewing angle

Sees what you can’t

A 1080P lens in a waterproof housing, ringed with infrared LEDs for dawn, dusk and dark water. Stabilizer rods keep it facing forward instead of spinning on the cable.

  • 1080P HD lens
  • Infrared night vision
  • Stabilizer rods included
  • Fresh & salt water
The cable
03The cable

Tough enough to pull hard

A thick 1.8 mm anti-wear cable that survives ice edges, boat rails and rocks — and winds back neatly onto its own reel at the end of the day.

  • 1.8 mm anti-wear jacket
  • Stored on its own reel
  • Gold-plated plug
  • Packs into the carry case
What happens when

From the case to the first fish

Live view on the RunEarn monitor
  1. The day it arrivesCharge the monitor, plug in the camera cable, clip on the stabilizer rods. About ten minutes and it’s ready.
  2. Your first tripLower the camera next to your line. Within minutes you know whether the spot holds fish — or it’s time to move.
  3. The first weekendYou start learning: where fish hold, how they react to your lure, what the bottom looks like. The kids won’t leave the screen.
  4. Every trip afterLess time on empty water, more time on fish — and every story comes with “I saw it with my own eyes”.

Why you can take our word for it

We would rather tell you the limits

Water clarity decides what you see

In clear water you can see roughly 10–20 ft. In muddy or stirred-up water you may only see a foot or two. That’s physics, and it’s true for every camera, at any price.

It’s a camera, not sonar

It shows what’s in front of the lens, live. Sonar scans a wide area; the camera tells you what’s actually there. Many anglers use both.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work in murky water? +
Partly. In clear water you can see roughly 10–20 ft. In stained water expect a few feet, and in very muddy or freshly stirred water only a foot or two. Let the silt settle and point the camera sideways rather than straight down for the clearest view.
How deep can I use it? +
As deep as the cable reaches. The picture is brightest in the first 15 ft or so; deeper down, less daylight reaches the bottom and you see more shapes and outlines — switch on the infrared to help.
How long does the battery last? +
A full fishing session on one charge at normal temperatures. In freezing weather lithium batteries drain faster, so charge it the night before and keep the monitor in a pocket or inside your shelter between looks.
Does it work for ice fishing? +
Yes, it’s one of the best uses. Drop the camera through your hole and watch fish come to your jig. The camera is fine underwater; keep the monitor warm for the longest battery life.
Can I see the screen in bright sun? +
Yes. The 1500-lux IPS screen is much brighter than typical budget monitors, and the fold-out visor blocks most glare. In harsh midday sun or snow glare, shading it with your body helps.
Will the lights scare the fish? +
Infrared light is barely visible to most fish, which is why anglers use it. In daylight and clear water you won’t need it at all.
Does it record video? +
No. It’s a live-view camera — you watch in real time on the screen. If you want clips to share, film the screen with your phone.
How do I stop the camera spinning? +
Use the included stabilizer rods — they keep the camera facing forward. To look around, gently twist the cable at the surface.
Can I use it in saltwater? +
Yes. Rinse the camera and cable in fresh water after each saltwater trip and let them dry before packing them in the case.
Can I use it from a kayak or boat? +
Yes — at anchor, on a drift or while slowly moving. At trolling speed the camera trails behind and can’t be aimed.
Is it a fish finder? +
It’s a live underwater camera, not sonar. Sonar shows marks over a wide area; the camera shows you what those marks actually are, what the bottom looks like and how fish react to your bait.
How long is delivery? +
Usually 5–10 business days to the USA, UK, Canada and Australia, with a tracking number sent by email as soon as it ships.
Is it a good gift? +
It’s one of the best fishing gifts you can give: nothing to install, easy for any age, and it turns every trip into something the whole family watches together. The Buddy Pack gives you two kits — one to keep, one to give.
What if it’s not for me? +
You’re covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Send it back for a full refund, no questions asked.
